African Development Bank pledges to further support East African integration process
The African Development Bank (AfDB) is committed to further supporting the integration process of the East African Community (EAC), a regional intergovernmental organization.
A statement released Thursday evening by EAC headquarters in Arusha, northern Tanzania, said the pledge was made by Cheptoo Amos Kipronoh, AfDB Executive Director for Kenya, Eritrea, l Ethiopia, Rwanda, Seychelles, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda, when he held talks with EAC Deputy Secretary General for Planning and Infrastructure Steven Mlote.
