Cape May Beach Man hit and killed in car
Lower Township Police released details of a fatal car / pedestrian crash Thursday afternoon.
Police say just before 2:30 p.m., they responded to an accident on Bay Avenue in the Cape May Beach section of Lower Township.
A pedestrian, John M. Baldwin, Jr 65, of Cape May Beach, was crossing the roadway when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
Baldwin died at the scene while being treated for his injuries.
Police did not publish any information about the pilot. They say the investigation is “open and ongoing”.
