Obsessed with big cats? You can drink with them in Wisconsin
Are you obsessed with big cats but not at the level of Joe Exotic? I hope you answered “yes” without hesitation.
DID YOU KNOW: Wisconsin has no laws regarding the ownership of large cats.
Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue is located in Rock Springs, Wisconsin. The owners started their business as one of those “pictures with animals” situations, but quickly called off the photo operation following a shocking realization. They noticed the stress that the photos caused to the animals.
They started researching this style of photo business and after the terrifying discoveries, they decided to start an organization to save the big cats.
Within a year, another big cat rescue turned away hundreds of cats. So we started the Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue with the money we had from photos and donations.
Wisconsin Big Cats Rescue also works to convince state legislators to institute laws to protect animals.
ENJOY SOME DRINKS FOR A GOOD CAUSE
For the third time, WBCR organizes their “Boozen with the Big Cats”. The event will feature at least 15 establishments, including breweries, winners and distilleries. Food will be available on site but will not be included in ticket purchases.
Only 500 tickets will be sold online and at the door while supplies last, rain or shine.
Boozen with the Big Cats will take place on May 7, 2022 and September 10, 2022.
Tickets are $50 (use promo code BOOZEN). Guests who purchase tickets for both “boozen” dates will save $10. You can buy tickets and get all your questions answered here.
